28/6/2017Reminder: no camping is permitted.
We would like to remind all visitors to Mourne Country Park that camping is not permitted....

Country Park Northern Ireland

Mourne Country Park is a jewel nestled deep in the heart of the ancient Kingdom of Mourne. The mature beech-forest that forms a wooded glen on either side of the Whitewater River is a peaceful retreat that has been loved by generations of walkers, anglers, youth groups, nature lovers and bird watchers.

In order to preserve the delicate beauty of Mourne Country Park and to give the natural ecosystems their proper place in the order of priorities, Mourne Country Park (unlike other country parks in Northern Ireland) is not open on a daily basis to the visiting public, being mainly restricted to club membership access.

Membership is managed by our friends at The Mourne Woodland Rambling Club

For queries on membership of the rambling club please see the Rambling page

For general enquiries please feel free to contact us on info@mournecountrypark.org
