The Driving Range at Mourne Country Park is unique in Northern Ireland with its combination of 5 landscaped outdoor tees and 12 indoor bays. The facilities have a view that is more akin to the centre of a well landscaped golf course - not a golf driving range. The player looks out onto an expanse of green countryside and a big sky. Knockchree Hill, skirted with some mature woodland in the distance and the driving range itself is margined by grazing fields and trees. There is no other visible building on the horizon so that the player can easily capture that special feeling of tranquillity and peace; more usually reserved for the middle period of a full round of golf!

The golf driving range at Mourne Country Park is situated beside the Kilkeel Golf Club and has its own dedicated car-park. It is open from 6am to 10pm during the summer months and 8am to 9pm in the winter.

Refreshments (snacks, cold drinks, hot tea, coffee, hot chocolate and soup) are available on site. Club hire is also available and the Pro (Jerry Scullion) based at Kilkeel Golf Club (Pro Shop ) can be contacted on 02841762296 for coaching tips, individual lessons and group courses.

Please note that the ball dispenser machine only takes coins. Digi-cards are available from the Pro Shop which offer the regular visitor a discount.
